Cozy Chunk Scarf in Bubblegum Pop *Made-to-Order*
Cozy Chunk Scarf in Bubblegum Pop *Made-to-Order*
Upcycled wool scarf with raw, organic edges. Chunky and lumpy in form. Wool may be visibly patched or mended. Measures around 65” x 15”.
Made from 100% post-consumer textiles, specifically, pre-loved wool sweaters. All sweaters hand-picked by Lauren are 100% wool, but some sweaters are donated to Wholegrayn as remnants without fiber content tags, so there could be a small percentage of synthetic fibers in certain scrap chunks.
Completely one of a kind and made-to-order by Lauren. These are thoughtfully pieced works of wearable art. Made for all human beans. Yes, you.
Pictured: Examples of what your scarf could look like in the Bubblegum Pop colorway. Your unique scarf will have any combination of the colors seen in the pictures. Colors may vary from screen to screen. Think bubblegum pink, fuchsia, turquoise, sky blue, yellows, light grays and creamy neutrals.
*Ordering Tip*
If the style (rectangle or infinity) of scarf you want is sold out, but the color is still available, order the scarf color you want in the style option available, then email me what style you actually want (rectangle or infinity). I can easily make a rectangle scarf into an infinity or vice versa. If the color you want is sold out, then I am sorry, but it’s gone completely.
Wool CARE:
Wool should be dry cleaned or spot cleaned to avoid shrinking or damage to fibers. If washing at home, use wool-safe detergent to gently wash by hand in room temperature water, avoiding too much agitation, gently squeeze out excess water, re-shape wool while damp (if needed) and lay flat to dry.
Steaming / Ironing - Ironing wool or synthetic fabrics can damage the fibers (burn or melt), so it is not recommended on this style. This specific style utilizes a majority of 100% wool fabrics, but some fabrics have unknown fiber content, so test iron or steam on low heat before raising temperature to wool settings. Always use an ironing cloth or piece of cotton between the iron and the wool. Press iron, do not glide.
SHIPPING:
Please allow 2-4 weeks for production time. Your scarf is made-to-order using limited, upcycled materials. It may have 40 - 80 scrap pieces sewn together. That alone takes time and patience.. lol This is a one person studio. <3
RETURNS / EXCHANGES:
Returns are not accepted, as these are made-to-order works of wearable art. Exchanges will be accepted on a case-by-case basis. If you ordered the wrong size, exchanges are offered as long as the original garment is unworn, unwashed and completely intact. Exchanges based on aesthetic dislike are not accepted, so please order wisely. Exchange inquiries must be made within 2 weeks of delivery. Shipping charges will be paid by customer.
If you have any questions or would like to know your suggested garment size, please email Lauren@wholegrayn.com before you place your order. :)
NOTE FROM LAUREN:
Thank you immensely for joining me on this exploration of fashion design and fiber art. Thank you for choosing slow fashion. These materials get to experience a new cycle of life because of your support. That’s pretty cool. I hope my garments make you feel super jazzed and swaggy <3
