About Wholegrayn

Wholegrayn is a wearable art brand & zero waste fiber studio that creates playful, one of a kind garments, textile goods and fiber art. Garments are intuitively pieced together using textile scraps, fiber remnants and post-consumer textiles (most often stained and damaged clothing that needs to be mended). All remaining textile waste created during studio production is then thoughtfully made into textile goods and fiber art.

WHOLEGRAYN’S PURPOSE IS TO HELP DIVERT local TEXTILE WASTE FROM ENTERING LANDFILLS OR BEING DUMPED OVERSEAS.

THIS IS DONE BY REMOVING DISCARDED TEXTILES FROM LOCAL WASTE STREAMS, UPCYCLING, PROBLEM-SOLVING, EDUCATING CONSUMERS ON THE IMPORTANCE OF CLOTHING LONGEVITY AND MENDING, AND ULTIMATELY… REDEFINING TEXTILE WASTE AS A CREATIVE RESOURCE.
