DESCRIPTION:

Cutoff tank with raw hem, armholes and neckline. Made for all human beans. Yes, you.

These are thoughtfully pieced works of wearable art. Completely one of a kind and made-to-order by Lauren. Each tank takes an average of 5-7 hrs to make.

* IMPORTANT NOTE* Pockets are a possibility, but not part of the design. You may get one, you may not. Depends if there were pockets on the shirts being upcycled. (Most do not, unfortunately.)

Pictured: Multiple examples of the endless possibilities of what your top could look like in the 70’s, 80’s, 90’s or Black Skelly colorways. Your unique top will have any combination of the colors seen in these pictures. Think orange, yellow, green, brown and creamy neutrals for 70’s. Think “Barbie” pink/purples with various shades of turquoise, teal, cornflower blue, tomato red and bright yellows for 80’s. Think red, yellow, blue, green, brown and creamy neutrals for 90’s. Think various shades of black with an occasional black/white print for Black Skelly.

FIT:

Meant to have a loose, unisex, athletic fit. Scoop neck with deep cut armholes. Raw edges may roll after washing just like t-shirts you crop or cut the sleeves off of. That is an intentional part of the design.

* IMPORTANT NOTE * For those that wear bras: Not recommended bra-less, unless you don’t mind side boob or a nip slip lol. This style will show some ribs/torso. Best layered over sports bras, swimsuits, bralettes, fitted tanks, bandeaus, etc.

Offered in Mini, Mid-Crop, T-Shirt or Tall lengths. Mid is not too short, but not t-shirt length. Lays at or near the belly button on * many * people. Mini is about 3” - 4” shorter than mid-crop, depending on size. T-Shirt is about 5” longer than mid-crop length and sits around high hip on * many * people. Tall is about 6”- 7” longer than t-shirt, depending on size.

Black Skelly picture is size L, t-shirt length. All other shirt pictures are mid-crop lengths.

FIBER CONTENT:

100% post-consumer textiles, specifically, pre-loved t-shirt knits. More specifically, shirts owned by probable dads lolol. Shirts hand-picked by Lauren are 100% cotton, but some shirts are donated to Wholegrayn as remnants without fiber content tags, so there could be a small percentage of synthetic fibers in certain scrap chunks.

CARE:

This garment should be washed in cold or room temperature water on normal or gentle cycle. Do not overpack the washer; this could agitate seams and damage garment. Hang or lay flat to dry.

Steaming / Ironing - This specific style utilizes 100% cotton fabrics. Test iron or steam on low heat before raising temperature to cotton settings. Always use an ironing cloth or thin piece of cotton fabric between the iron and garment to avoid scorch marks. Press iron, do not glide.

SHIPPING:

Please allow up to 8 weeks for production time. May ship sooner. Your garment is made-to-order using limited, upcycled materials. It may have 20 - 50+ scrap pieces sewn together. That alone takes time and patience.. lol This is a one person studio. <3

RETURNS / EXCHANGES:

Returns are not accepted, as these are 1 of 1 works of wearable art. Exchanges will be accepted on a case-by-case basis. If you ordered the wrong size, exchanges are offered as long as the original garment is unworn, unwashed and completely intact. Exchanges based on aesthetic dislike are not accepted, so please order wisely. Exchange inquiries must be made within 2 weeks of delivery. Shipping charges will be paid by customer.
